🎵 For Attendees
Do I need to download an app?
No! SLIPP works directly in your phone's browser. Just scan a QR code or visit the festival page, and you're ready to order.
How do I know when my order is ready?
You'll get a notification in the app if you have it open, and you'll also receive a text message (SMS) when your order is ready for pickup.
What if I can't find my order confirmation?
Your order is saved in your browser. Just go back to the SLIPP page and your recent orders will be there. The confirmation works even without internet.
What if I don't pick up my order?
Orders have a pickup window. If you don't pick up within this time, it's up to the vendor's discretion what happens. We'll send you reminders, but it's best to pick up when notified!
Can I order for a group?
Yes! Add as many items as you want to your cart. You'll get one confirmation for the whole order.
🍕 For Vendors
How much does SLIPP cost?
SLIPP adds a 6% platform fee to the customer's order total — you don't pay it. Your only cost is the standard Stripe payment processing fee.
How long does setup take?
About 15 minutes. Paste your menu URL, our AI extracts items, you confirm and set your capacity. That's it.
Do I need special hardware?
No! SLIPP works on any tablet, laptop, or even a smartphone. No scanners, no proprietary equipment.
Does it replace my POS system?
No — SLIPP runs entirely in parallel with your current setup. There's no integration or connection between them. Think of it as an extra revenue channel.
How do I verify orders?
Customers show their verification screen with a unique visual and number. Just match what you see—no scanning required.
What if I run out of an item?
Toggle items to "sold out" instantly from your dashboard. Customers won't be able to order unavailable items.
🔒 Payments & Security
Is my payment secure?
Absolutely. SLIPP uses Stripe for payment processing—the same technology used by Amazon, Shopify, and millions of businesses. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
What payment methods are supported?
Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit/debit cards. We support the fastest, most secure payment methods available.
Can I get a refund?
Refund policies are set by each vendor. Contact the vendor directly at the booth for any refund requests.
When do vendors receive payment?
Vendors receive daily payouts via Stripe Connect. Funds typically arrive within 2 business days.
What is "Safe-Pay"?
Safe-Pay is our commitment to secure payments. SLIPP never sees or stores your card information. All transactions are encrypted and processed through Stripe, which maintains the highest level of PCI-DSS compliance (SAQ-A).
What happens if there's a payment issue?
If a payment fails, you'll be notified immediately and can try again. No order is placed until payment is confirmed.
